In Pittsburgh, a plug or patch repair usually takes under half an hour without an appointment, while a full set of tires with alignment is best booked ahead. Compare the out-the-door price across shops in Pennsylvania, since installation fees vary more than the tires themselves. Keep the receipt: the tire warranty and any road-hazard coverage are tied to it. Demand peaks before winter and before summer road trips. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop sells used tires or handles truck and trailer tires, and its Google rating before you drive over on a spare.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 9 amβ4 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (412) 452-1316. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 529 reviews, which is a strong result for an used tire shop in Pittsburgh and suggests consistent service.
Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Pittsburgh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Have been coming here since Iβve moved here from Jersey, very nice people. The men always explain everything to me in detail and Sean is amazing. Definitely would recommend coming here if you need anything tire related. My whole family comes here because they are just that good. I trust them to take care of me and my family so that speaks volumes. Amazing establishment.

I canβt recommend Tom enough! I had a flat tire that couldnβt be repaired, and he went above and beyond to help me get a replacement quickly and affordably. He even stayed open late to make sure everything was taken care of so I could get back on the road safely. Itβs hard to find businesses that still provide this level of customer service. Tom was kind, honest, and genuinely cared about helping me out. If you need tires, this is definitely the place to go!

Dan and the team took such good care of me and my car! I couldn't say more positive things about them wanting to make sure they get you on the road safely, getting your tires quickly, putting them on quickly, and letting you know of anything else that you need to take care of with your car to make sure your tires wear equally. I'm with these guys for life because I've never been more comfortable talking with, working with, and paying for anything that has to do with keeping my car safe!

I mean, they recycle tires the best way they can right now and they have fair prices. In fact, their neighbor at Red Line Auto, Paul & his crew really add value to all of us in that he recycles cars the best way known to man: he fixes them. And he sells them at a very very fair price. He stands by his product, and he is approachable and he'll hire you if you have something to bring to the table. I will give overbrook Tire yard five stars as soon as they apply for a grant to have Pittsburgh's first tire grinding factory so we can be more self-sufficient. Did you know that right now you can't actually recycle tires in the state of Pennsylvania? Yes, you have to actually take them to the state of Ohio to be recycled. Load up a tractor trailer driving to Ohio. That is a waste of resources. Sarah Innamoratos team Will facilitate the grant process simply by asking. And if she is unable to, being that the overbrook tire yard is in the city of Pittsburgh, contact Mayor Corey O'Connor and his team will most certainly facilitate said process. 1 2 3 go team!
